Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Decided to stay in the Chow Kit suburb of KL and did a half-day exploration of the area. Being a morning person, I explored it’s small lane market and eateries along with the large wet market.
Started the day at 6.30am with my favourite, wanton mee. Found this delightful stall that served a really delicious version with succulent roasted pork slices, springy noodles and flavourful soup.

After breakfast, looked at some housing and street market just further down the wanton mee stall.

It was still early enough to catch the sun low on the horizon when I walked to the huge Chow Kit wet market, known officially as Bazaar Baru Chow Kit. There are two sections to it, one selling fruits and vegetables, the other one selling poultry and fresh meat.
Warning: The last image in this section could be a bit gory.

Bonus of some nice shop shutters with beautiful shadows playing on them.
